Welcome to Instrumental Variables! I’m Parker Quinn, and this is a place for me to share my thoughts and work. Much of this site is still in development, but feel free to explore the available pages:

• I have two papers available under the Publications tab — my master’s thesis, which explores predictive and causal models of congressional elections, and my undergraduate capstone project, which proposes game theory-based improvements to the DOD acquisitions process.
• As part of my thesis research, I created a web app with district-level predictions for the Midterm elections this fall, and more recently, I have been working with CNN to implement my model into their site called “The Forecast”. You can find both of these under the 2018 Midterms tab.
